Leeroy James Leatigaga and Natasha Pemasa are currently studying at Bethel Bible
College in Malinta, Valenzuela City, Philippines. Leeroy taking up Pastoral Major
while Natasha is taking up Missions and Christian Education looking not only to
expand and broaden their knowledge of God but to use the gained knowledge to
make a difference. By using talents, gifts, knowledge and our personal testimony
to reach the very hearts of those coming in contact every single day.
There are many opportunities of ministering the gospel. Some which include Worship
Outbreak, Ground Zero, 67th Ave Part One and 67th Ave Dos; in where we
are required among our classmates to designate each person’s part. We are the
teachers, we are the leaders, we are the registration team, we are the ushers, we
do the planning and promoting of the events all under the guidance of our Lord
Jesus Christ. Many other forms of ministering the gospel include Campus Ministry,
Feeding Program (occurs every Saturday morning, even during summer), Mission
Trips, Kids Camp, Giving of Tracks and local Ministries. Many times we are also
invited to help put together Crusades and Concerts. Another major tool would
be Drama Choir 67th Ave Creative Arts, where a team of students put together
their gifts and talents to represent Jesus Christ and minister through human videos,
dance, skits and personal testimonies.
Besides the Tuesday-Friday classes attended there are late night and weekend
studying. There are also tools which are meant to sharpen what we learn such as
Bethel Assembly, Campus Clean-ups and Friday night prayer meetings. Not only
are we able to apply what is being taught, while doing so lives are being touched
and healed. The fellowship truly is priceless.

This is just a glimpse of what God has been doing throughout our schooling. There
were many opportunities and open doors that God has gotten us through but
believe it’s not over. This is just the beginning of the journey yet to come.
Everyone has their own opinions of what it means to be mature. It's not just a product of aging, but rather a mindset that is found in different people—some old and some young.
Maturity...
… is the ability to control anger and settle differences without violence or destruction.
… is the patience, the willingness to pass up immediate pleasure in favor of the long term gain.
… is unselfishness—responding to the needs of others, often at the expense of one's own desires or wishes.
… is the capacity to fare unpleasantness and frustration, discomfort and defeat, without complaint and collapse.
… is humility. It is being big enough to say, "I was wrong", and when right, the mature person need not say, "I told you so".
… is the ability to make a decision and stand by it. The immature spend their lives exploring endless possibilities then do nothing.
… means dependability, keeping one's word, coming through in a crisis.
… is the art of living in peace with that which we cannot change.
